We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Actuarial Analyst.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Provide support on the actuarial items (reserves and PVIF) and MI information under various reporting basis (statutory and IFRS) for various stakeholders, including Local Management, Finance, Risk and Group Office
  • Support on boarding of IFRS17 reporting and analysis processes into business-as-usual activities
  • Ensure that the financial reporting work is compliance with the internal and external audit requirements
  • To provide solutions and timely response upon request
  • Maintain HSBC internal control standards
  • Ensure compliance with Model Governance Standards, IFIM and other FIMs where applicable

Requirements

  • University graduate in Business Administration, Actuarial Science, Business Finance or related discipline
  • Good progress with actuarial examinations, and experience in corporate actuarial may be an advantage
  • Solid understanding of insurance products in Hong Kong, in particular participating products
  • Strong communication skills and good interpersonal skills
